Bundibugyo Update - October 2025

Karambi’s First Graduation

The long-awaited day finally arrived! The community of Karambi came together to celebrate 12 graduates - the very first cohort from our Vocational Training Program, who successfully completed courses in tailoring, hairdressing, and barbering.

It was all joy and ululations as graduates reflected on their months of hard work and shared their plans for the future. To recognize their dedication, we awarded the top students from each program with business starter kits.

Kisoro Update - October 2025

Purchased land for the Kanaba Community

After 30 years, the Kanaba community finally has a place to call home. For decades, they have lived without stability or ownership but now that is changing. We purchased nearly 9 acres of land that is now home to the Kanaba community.

Here, they’ll be able to build permanent homes, grow their own food, and rear animals, without the fear of displacement. We’re excited to walk alongside them as they rebuild their lives.
